Goals

Considering the vision for transport within the municipality, the following goals have been developed to provide a guideline to future transport related development. The following broad goals have been identified as the key goals to be attained:

• Development of a sustainable and cost-efficient transport system that will support economic growth.

• Safe and reliable public transport system to the benefit of all road users.

• Affordable transport system for all road users.

• Improve accessibility of current transport system to allow for future development initiatives; and

• Public transport modal integration.
